My Creative Side

I am a writer by education and sometimes by profession. One of my passions in life is for art—wildlife art in particular. I have combined these two facets of my life by writing articles that have been published in U.S.Art in October, 1998 and October, 1999.

Although I was terrible at art in high school, I have been trying to teach myself to draw, relying on my photos from Africa as reference. Here are a few of my drawings.

Also, I shot all of the photos (of animals and scenes) displayed on my web site during some of my travels.
